Job Title: Experienced Chef

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, creative chef available 2–5 shifts per week from April to September. This role is ideal for a chef who is passionate about seasonal cooking, brings strong organizational skills and attention to detail, and enjoys working closely with a small, dedicated team to create memorable dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Menu Execution: Prepare and cook dishes with precision, creativity, and attention to detail, following seasonal menus.

  • Ingredient Focus: Work with fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients, applying techniques like fermentation and preservation to enhance flavor.

  • Collaboration: Support the kitchen team in daily operations, contributing energy, enthusiasm, and a team-oriented mindset.

  • Sustainability: Minimize waste and incorporate thoughtful, sustainable practices in daily cooking.

  • Event Support: Assist in executing events and special meals, maintaining consistency and quality across all dishes.

  • Standards & Presentation: Deliver dishes that meet high culinary standards, with care for taste, presentation, and guest experience.

About You

  • Significant experience in fine dining

  • Deep passion for seasonal ingredients and sustainable sourcing.

  • Strong interest or experience in building farm-to-table relationships.

  • Skilled in fermentation, preservation methods, and innovative culinary techniques.

  • Energetic, positive, can do attitude.

  • A natural leader with excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • Committed to minimizing food waste and advancing kitchen sustainability.

  • Available for flexible working hours (must work 1 weekend day)
