Craft Club: Fruit & Veggie Patchmaking

  • Stretch and Fold 71 Papaverhof Amsterdam, NH, 1032 KJ Netherlands (map)

Join us for a hands-on, colorful, and super fun crafting session where you’ll design and stitch your very own fruit or veggie patch! Whether you want to brighten up a favorite garment or create a small textile artwork for your wall, this workshop is all about creativity, play, and learning simple sewing techniques.

Led by Yuna Verwiel, artist and illustrator. Find more of her work @yunart.amsterdam

Don’t worry if you’re new to sewing! Previous experience not required, all are welcome.

What We’ll Do:

  • Start with a little sketching time to explore shapes, colors, and ideas

  • Select fabrics and textures from a curated basket of textiles

  • Cut out your chosen fruit or vegetable design

  • Use sewing machines, hand-stitching, or Vliesofix (fusible web) to assemble your patch

  • Finish with ironing to secure everything in place

What to bring: A piece of clothing you’d love to fix or customize! If you don’t have one, no problem. You can make a patch to sew on a future date, or keep it as artwork for your wall.

Tickets: €30

Refund policy: limited spots available. We do not offer refunds but you can pass on your spot to a loved one. Come with an open heart and leave with a refreshed spirit.
