Join us for Still Life Drawing: A Vegetable Scene, an intimate evening of art, light and quiet conversation.

By candlelight, we’ll gather around various humble arrangements of vegetables transformed into something poetic, letting shadows lengthen and soften as we draw. Using pencil and pastel, you’ll explore line, texture, and color, capturing the subtle curves of squash, the layered folds of cabbage, the quiet drama of everyday forms made luminous in low light. Layering marks, colour, and quiet observation. Ordinary vegetables become a small, poetic landscape, warmed by flame and time.

This is an unhurried space. Come with friends, arrive curious, mingle easily, and let inspiration rise at its own pace. No experience needed, just a willingness to slow down, breathe, and return to the page again and again. Enjoy the beauty of simple things.
