Season: Autumn / Element: Metal / Energy: Yin / Organs: Lungs, Large Intestine / Theme: Letting Go, Boundaries, Clarity
A door left open to the possibility that things do not have to remain as they are.
This gathering is an invitation to slow down — to perceive ourselves through sensation rather than thought, and to return to the place we are always carrying with us: the body. A familiar landscape that still, somehow, reveals something new
We begin in movement: a somatic practice to bring you back into the body, its weight, its warmth, its own intelligence. Then we settle into stillness — Restorative Yoga, held poses, supported rest — while live cello moves through the room, a soundscape to guide you inward and to give the breath something to follow.
In the space between movement and stillness, we'll explore the subtle textures of sensation, and let the breath become a way of finding ground. It’s not the thought about change, but the direct experience of it — a nervous system held differently than it's used to being held, boundaries that slowly shift, softening where they no longer need to hold so tightly.
A space to notice, to soften, to listen differently. And perhaps, from there, to discover another way of being.

About Zoe
Zoe González is an artist whose work unfolds in the space between disciplines. After fifteen years immersed in classical music, she felt a growing need for space, silence, and slowness. A need to look at things from another angle. Alongside her studies, she turned first to Yoga, and then to Somatic Education — fields that reconnected her with the body as an intelligent, perceptive instrument and deepened her understanding of how we feel, sense, and relate. Through these practices, she began to notice what had long gone unnoticed, and her performances took on new meaning as sound and research started to inform one another. Today, cello, Somatic Education, Yoga, and an ongoing curiosity about the nervous system and emotion move together in her practice, shaping spaces where presence and attentiveness can be felt rather than explained. Drawn to what surfaces at the edges of separate disciplines, Zoe invites others into a closer relationship with sound, movement, and their own embodied experience.
