Craft Club: Slow Printmaking with Fruit & Veg

  • Stretch and Fold 71 Papaverhof Amsterdam, NH, 1032 KJ Netherlands (map)

Let your evening slow down in this playful and hands-on Craft Club, we’ll explore the surprisingly beautiful art of fruit and vegetable stamping on fabric.

Using simple, everyday materials like potatoes, lemons and fabric paint, you’ll carve your own stamps and experiment with patterns, repetition, and colour. This technique is wonderfully low-pressure and intuitive, making it perfect for beginners while still offering plenty of room for creativity.

Each participant will create a stamped tea towel to take home, learning how small, imperfect shapes can come together to form something truly unique. We’ll start with some testing on paper, then move onto fabric once you’re feeling confident.

Anna will guide you through the process step by step, from carving your stamps to layering prints, sharing tips along the way and encouraging playful experimentation. There’s no “right” result here, just the joy of making and seeing your ideas come to life.

This workshop is beginner-friendly, relaxed, and social. Expect a cozy evening of crafting, chatting, and creating something by hand.

All materials are provided.

No prior experience needed.

You’ll leave with your own hand-printed fabric piece and a new appreciation for how creative simple tools can be.
