Craft Club: Intro to Weaving

Weaving is a calming, slow, rhythmic technique, making it perfect for beginners while still offering plenty of room for creativity. With simple materials, yarn, a small loom, and your hands, we will explore the basics of weaving fabric from scratch. You will set up your own warp threads and experiment with pattern, texture, and colour.

Dana will guide you through the process step by step, from setting up your loom to weaving your first rows, sharing tips along the way.

In the end you will have your own hand made coaster, along with a basic small loom to continue playing with at home.

We will provide a variety of yarns and threads to choose from in different colors and textures, but you are welcome to bring your own yarn if you'd like your coasters to reflect something personal, like leftover thread from a favorite project or colors that remind you of somewhere special.

• You will leave the workshop with a coaster and a handmade loom

Food: We recommend arriving early to enjoy before the workshop begins, as workshops are hands on and dining mid-session is tricky. Our kitchen serves our evening menu from 16:00 to 20:00. View Menu
